LIRIDI (" LIRIDI", " We", " Us") are committed to ensure that your privacy is protected and respected.

Please read this privacy policy (" Privacy Policy") carefully. This Privacy Policy describes the way We collect, store, secure, and use the personal information of an individual user (" User", " You"). You accept this Privacy Policy by visiting the LIRIDI platform (" Platform") or through availing any of its services through the Platform. If you do not agree to with this Privacy Policy, you may not avail of the services.

This Privacy Policy is subject to change at any time without notice. You are responsible for regularly reviewing this Privacy Policy so that you will be apprised of any changes.

Scope of policy

The provisions set out in this Privacy Policy applies to the use by the User of:

  1. LIRIDI mobile application software (" Application" or " App") available on our designated server, once you have downloaded or streamed a copy of the App onto your mobile telephone or handheld device (" Device").

  2. Any of the services accessible through the App (" Services").

The provisions set out in this Privacy Policy provide the basis on which any personal data We collect from You, or that You provide to Us and will be processed by Us.

It is your responsibility to read through the following provisions in order to gain a thorough understanding of our views and practices relating to the User's personal data and how it will be treated.

Information which We may collect from You

Please read the following carefully to understand our views and practices regarding User's personal data and how We will treat it.

We may collect and process the following data about You:

  1. Information provided by You about You by yourself (" Submitted Information"):

  2. provided by filling in forms in the App;

  3. provided by corresponding with Us, including but not limited to, by e-mail, or chat in any relevant messenger program or the App chat;
  4. including information You provide when You register to use the App, download or register an App, subscribe to any of our Services, search for an App or Service, share data via an App's social media functions, enter a competition, promotion or survey, and when You report a problem with an App or our Services;
  5. including your name, address, gender, date of birth, national ID, e-mail addresses, phone number of the user's Device, username, password, and other registration information, information relating to finance and credit such as employer name, monthly salary, bank account number, bank statements, credit information, login-in credentials of third parties such as social media sites (i.e. Facebook, LinkedIn, and other such social media platforms), copies of identification documents, biometric information, digital signature keys, personal description and photographs current and former places of employment, education, names of colleagues, contacts, friends, lists of family members and photographs;

  6. Information We collect about You and your Device. When You use our App, the following information may be automatically collected:

  7. technical information, including your email addresses, the type of mobile device You use, unique device identifiers (for example, your Device's IMEI or serial number), information about the SIM card used by the Device, mobile network information, your Device operating system or your Device's location and time zone setting (" Device Information");

  8. the information which is stored on your Device, which may include but not limited to call logs, SMS and message logs, Facebook (LinkedIn and other such social media platforms) friends, contact lists from the Device and social media accounts, photos, videos or other digital content (" Content Information"); and
  9. details of your use of our App including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data, weblogs, and other communication data (" Log Information").

  10. We also have the right to use GPS technology or other location services to determine your current location (" Location information").

  11. You can withdraw your consent for the processing of any Submitted Information, Device Information, Content Information, Log Information or Location Information at any time by logging out and uninstalling the App from your Device;
  12. Due to the nature of the Services which we provide, wWe are required to work with a number have working relationships with a limited number of third parties, including credit reference agencies, merchant partners, mobile network and online payment providers, analytics and search information providers, credit bureaus and other identity verification and fraud prevention services, from whom We may on occasion receive and collect information about You (" Third Party Information"). This Third Third-Party Information is governed by your privacy policies agreed with those sources and with your express consent.

  13. When You install or uninstall an App, containing a unique application number or when such an App searches for automatic updates, that number and information about your installation, for example, the type of operating system, may be sent to Us (" Unique application numbers").

Tracking and cookies

We may use mobile tracking technologies and/or website cookies to distinguish You from other users of the App. This assists Us to provide You with a good experience when You use the App and also allows Us to improve the App.

Uses made of the information

We may associate one or more categories of information with any other category of information that it sees fit to and will treat the combined information as personal data in accordance with this Privacy Policy for as long as it is combined.

Information collected by Us shall be used to deliver, develop, and improve services, to which users have subscribed with the Platform, and to fulfill users' demands. This shall include:

  1. performing Your background verification including satisfying the KYC due diligence and to perform credit checks on Youin order to confirm Your identity and to consider Your loan application;;
  2. carrying out Our obligations arising from any contracts entered into between You, Us and our Platform Partners to provide You with the information, our Platform products and services that You request from Us;
  3. establishing Your credit rating based on your information, using LIRIDI propensity mobile and social data -based scoring system, which enables micro finance companiesorganizations, whicho are Our Platform's partners, to take make responsible lending decisions, a decision regarding whether or not to provide or not a loan will or will not be granted by any of them to You, what the amount of such a loan may be and the tTerms and cConditions which applicabley to any such loan; 4.
  4. providinge You with effective Services, You have already purchased, communicating with you about your account and transactions, also as assisting in the event You need additional support;
  5. sending You messages, through the App or other channels, about other goods and services we and Our partners offer via the Platformto You and assist in the event You need additional support;
  6. exercising Our or Our Platform partners'' rights under contracts You entered with Us and Our partners, using Our Platform products and services, like managing, collecting and recovering money you owe to our Partners via Our Platform;
  7. andinvestigating and resolving complaints and other issues You may raise;
  8. preventing illegal and fraud activities, protecting Your, Us and our Platform partners;
  9. complying with our legal or statutory obligations;.
  10. tracking, analyzing, and improving the services we give You and other customers and how you respond to our communications. We may ask for feedback if you've shown interest in a service. We do this so that we can make our products better and understand how to market them.

Save in compliance with an order of the Court, Arbitral Panel, Tribunal, Regulatory Directive or Order or any other legal or regulatory obligation, we do not disclose information about identifiable individuals to other parties, but wWe may provide third parties with anonymous aggregate information about our users (for example, we may inform them that 100 men aged under 40 have applied for a loan on any specified day).

Disclosure of your information

We do not disclose information about identifiable individuals without their prior written consent to other parties, except for the cases listed below.

We may provide your personal information to any member of our business group, which includes subsidiaries, the group's ultimate holding company, and its subsidiaries.

We may disclose your personal information:

  1. with employees, affiliates, vendors, partners, and third parties as may be required to offer the LIRIDI's Services;
  2. if We are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal or regulatory obligation or request, including but not limited to a court, arbitral panel, or tribunal order;
  3. with other corporate entities and affiliates to help detect identity theft, fraud, and other potentially illegal acts, verify your KYC details, retrieve your credit information/bank account details to prevent abuse of our Services, provide customer service and support and resolve disputes;
  4. in the event that We take the decisiondecide to sell or buy any business or assets, where personal data may be provided to the prospective seller or buyer or such business or assets;
  5. if any third party acquires LIRIDI or all of its assets, where personal data which is held on its customers will act as one of the assets to be transferred; and/or
  6. where it is necessary to do so in order to:

  7. enforce the Terms and Conditions and other agreements;

  8. where it is necessary in order to investigate potential breaches;
  9. report defaulters to a credit bureau;
  10. publish statistics regarding the App's usage, where information relating to users will be aggregated and made anonymous.

We also may provide third parties with anonymous aggregate information about our users (for example, we may inform them that 100 men aged under 40 have applied for a loan on any specified day).

International data transfers

Information that We collect may be stored, processed in, and transferred between any of the countries in which we operate, in order to enable us to use the information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Any such information transfers to other countries shall be in compliance with the applicable legislation.

Security

LIRIDI has stringent security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control. Personal data which that is collected from You by LIRIDI may be moved to and stored at a location outside Sri Lanka. Our servers are accessible only to authorized personnel or agents of LIRIDI and your information is shared with employees and authorized personnel or agents of LIRIDI (including those who operate outside Sri Lanka). Employees and authorized personnel or agents of LIRIDI, any member of our business group, or one of our suppliers may be charged with processing the data. Such employees and authorized personnel or agents may be tasked with dealing with requests made by You. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your personal data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

You acknowledge that by submitting your personal data, You accept its transfer, storage or processing. LIRIDI will ensure, within reason, that your personal data is treated securely and in accordance with the provisions set out in this Privacy Policy. You accept that it is your responsibility to ensure that any password which has been provided or chosen by You to access certain parts of our App remains confidential. LIRIDI highly recommends You not to share your password with any other person. LIRIDI highlights that transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to ensure that your personal data is protected, the security of your personal data transmitted to LIRIDI through our App cannot be guaranteed. Any transmission is at your risk. When your information has been received, LIRIDI will use strict security features and procedures in an effort to ensure that unauthorized access does not occur.

By using this App, you agree that LIRIDI will have no liability for disclosure of your information due to errors in transmission, infrastructure failures by LIRIDI or any intermediary (including telecom and internet service providers), or unauthorized acts of third parties.

Your rights

We will use Your data for the purposes of compilingto compile statistics relating to our user base or loan portfolio and may disclose such information to any third party for such purposes, provided that such information will always be anonymous.

Changes to Privacy Policy

Changes which that We may make to the Privacy Policy at a future date will be published separately in the App. Where it is deemed necessary, You will be notified about corresponding changes to the Privacy Policy if any, when You start the App. Any changes to the terms will be visible on your Device screen and You may be obliged to read and accept them before being permitted to continue your use of the App or Services.
